I just finished this for the first time 15 minutes ago. It's a great game and deserves the praise it gets

Yeah fuck the Meat Circus, that's why I finished the game recently and not three months ago
That last level really left a bitter taste in my mouth, rest of the game was amazing though.

I just really don't understand all the praise and feelings people get out of Psychonauts.
It was a neat puzzle/explore game with lots of platforming with some great scenery and coherent art direction.
But it's not like there was anything amazing about anything in the game. Collect shit, roam around and do missions, spend ages finding that last piece or figuring out how to get into that specific area (and sometimes fail at the solution without knowing it was the solution and thus conclude that it wasn't the solution despite actually being so) and beat some bosses.
It had a lot of charm and was fun to play. But it's not like "Holy shit, this game is the fucking best". Absolutely do buy it once it gets out on the PS3, it is well worth the money, but IMO it's hyped to hell and back.
The Milkman level has got to be one of my favorite levels in a video game.
