Does anyone actually use this over facebook? No-one I know uses it, though it is pretty cool.
The problem is that Google starts these things then pulls the plug a year later. I'm sure they won't do it with Google+, but at the same time I can't see people leaving facebook for it.

As long as Google+ can retain it's userbase it won't be canned.
I use Google+ for following people, much better than Twitter. I get people to post by mentioning them (ie: @John Freeman) so when they go to ANY Google site besides Youtube, they'll see the notification counter on the top right.
Maybe it's because I'm used to it already, but other than the circles, G+ have no benefits over Google Buzz.

It would be cool if your youtube videos were tied your your G+ account. They really need to overhaul the whole thing.
it's a little weird how you sign into youtube with your google account but it's a whole different ecosystem.
You always signed into Youtube with your Google, ever since Google bought Youtube and integrated it. I take it you never used gmail? [editline]7th November 2011[/editline] BTW Garry you should make a Facepunch page.
You always signed into Youtube with your Google, ever since Google bought Youtube and integrated it.
Uh, yeah? The thing I'm trying to say is that youtube isn't integrated like the other google services at all apart from signing in with a google account.

Is Facepunch getting a brand page?
