All the Surface RT does is confuse people. I don't get why they're trying to push it so much, even though they note that it's not selling, people are confused as to what it does, and most only measure it as a beefier and more expensive alternative to android and iOS tablets, with a much smaller app ecosystem.
The Surface Pro is a great product, but they need to advertise it properly, as a full-fledged computer rather than a tablet that runs x86 windows. Hell, if you only browse the web and do shit in MS Office for your job, that thing is a really slick laptop replacement.

Yeah, especially if your job has you traveling a lot.
I plan on getting a surface pro because of portability. I have a powerful laptop, but it's a pain lugging my laptop and my midi controller and mics and shit to the studio, so having a lightweight alternative that is just as powerful will be amazing

My problem is the surface pro is officially at a price point where you might as well just get a nice quality ultrabook that has better specs and a battery life, especially since you'll need to get the keyboard cover in order to really use it as a proper laptop and not as a tablet.
