Facing Worlds fuck yeah
Facing Worlds fuck yeah
Can't have some UT capture the flag without Facing Worlds. And thankfully they put it back in space this time instead of that awkward and graphically noisy version in Unreal Tournament 3.

Calling it: UT4 will cost $20 because Bethesda ruined paid mods.

The original idea for UT4 was that the base game would be free due to the modding community being being able to sell you mods through said game. With Skyrim creating a lot of controversy regarding the monetization of mods, I won't be surprised if Epic Games decides to charge you 20 buxx for the sake of keeping mods free.

Epic is probably counting on this game having long term playability with a small dedicated player base, who may be willing to occasionally buy new content from the store. Epic deciding to charge a base price for the game would probably be financially disastrous (compared to shooting for long term community based income) given the arena FPS genre's limited popularity anymore, and the high cost to develop this game to the quality being sought. It would keep curious newcomers out, and probably pose a real issue for forming any notably large community around the game. Back when it was more popular after release the online multiplayer was excellent, had great fun playing that. Never really got into ut2004, and I think that is a lot of where opinion is divided, because ut3 wasn't unreal tournament 2004 [2]. But that's just my opinion and all that.
Calling it: UT4 will cost $20 because Bethesda ruined paid mods.
they already said it'll be free so I doubt it

Am I the only one who really enjoyed the ctf_face3 map from UT2k3/4?
Am I the only one who really enjoyed the ctf_face3 map from UT2k3/4?
I always was more focused on the Onslaught/Assault maps from 2004. I only played UT on the PS2 and the vehicles were a new thing to me. I don't remember seeing as many maps from the PS2 on UT99 though. I remember the PS2 version of the game being much prettier than the PC version, HUD and all that.
Insta-gib on facing worlds is the best shit.
