Mine killed a Craug then me.
He was also immune to everything but fire.
This game feels like Arkham City in LotR. Which is more than perfectly fine by me!
It's more Assassin's Creed than Assassin's Creed by this point.

Just finished watching TB's video, and he said the same thing.
It looks great.

Alternate title: Watercooler Stories - The Game. It actually succeeds in making you root for/hate pseudo-randomly generated characters and boy does the game know that, it seems to always find another way to amp that effect and surprise you.
It's so much fun to get killed by a random mook, see him rise to power, plot his downfall step by step... then fail and get even more excited for revenge.
That said, I think the game kinda struggles lategame, you become way stronger than what the game can throw at you, and without dying and making rivals the game is only half as fun.

When you're sneaking through a fortress gutting Uruks on your way to a captain, and then try to backstab an Uruk who turns around and "Thought you could sneak up on me, Ranger?" 'Hello there captain, I didn't recognise you.' Now there's an entire fortress coming down on you, and the captain you originally wanted is coming as back up. That's when you have a good game.
Also you get too powerful. I've been trying to power up war chiefs by sending petty captains to betray them and die, but I keep killing the captains by accident because I forget that you can outright kill a weak captain with a finisher.
I love this game so much. My only complaint is that the captains and warchiefs are all waaaay too easy to kill. Their strengths/weaknesses are completely pointless as you can easily brute force them to death (once you have unlocked the right abilities, which you will have gotten about 6 hours into it).
Really wish the game had a difficulty selection of some sort.

Some combos are bad in all stages of the game, though they're really rare. I had a guy who was invulnerable to combat, ranged, stealth, and a beast master. The only way I could hurt him was by turning other orcs around him my side (I can't cut him with a super sword but the orcs can?) or hopefully leading him to a campfire or grog. Too bad he was a spear-throwing asshole who did enough damage to one-shot me even with three health upgrades.
