When Youtube did streaming it was really good, rarely got stutter or anything. The only downside was that it was very behind compared to Twitch which killed it for live events such as tournaments.

Behind as in a delay? Because that sounds like the sacrifice they chose to get rid of stutter. I imagine it be very difficult to have both benefits.
twitch still has a noticeable delay for me
Scary competitor when you think about the probable integration with Youtube videos and channels. Could be very attractive the plethora of LP'ers / Game video people.

However I think I would still rather have healthy competition and not have Youtube take over all things internet video. It's a shitty video sight but it's the only one now.
