It was a cut mode and besides, they're releasing a similar mode for free later.

and just were too lazy to optimize it and take the crap out.

it's not them "being lazy" for not removing this

it's not intended to be accessed by the players, so what's the point in even making the effort to it?

Actually the method used to get to it seems more like an easter egg to me.

Is this game even any good? It literally seems to be Gears of War 3. Everything seems to be the same except I guess there's the story. Certainly doesn't seem worth 60 dollars.

Also they didn't say they were releasing Warzone, but a mode very similar. Who knows, they could put in something like a "classic warzone" type thing. Doesn't seem the type of thing they'd put a pricetag on, though.

i've heard that it's "okay." i'd only really buy it if you loved gears 2/3.

It really should if just been an expansion to GOW3, it's like what ODST was to Halo 3
