so i just got ghost recon future soldier today,set every single setting to the minium and my res to 1600x900
i leave it in pause and when i come back suddenly my temp is FUCKING 93C!!!
Im not sure whats the problem i got about 4 fans( one extra for my video card,2 extractors and well thats it)
So yeah i instantly quitted the game as i was worried my vide card would get fucked up
video card is nvidia geforce 9600 GT
I Alredy dusted the shit outta everything i could see
Use a Overclocking tool such as EVGA Precision and use it to adjust your graphics card's fans speed. You can set it to be 100% Maximum Speed all the time or have it to where the speed bumps up more than usual per degree.
Is it just that game?
i alredy set my fan speed to 100% all the time
and the over heating only happends with that game,i just tried playing max payne 3 at 1680x1024 with mostly everything at max and the highest temp i had was 80 but no more than it
If you moved the heatsink around on the video card, it could have broke contact with the GPU; That would cause excessive temperatures. You could try removing the heatsink from the video card and reapply thermal paste after removing the old stuff.
Ok so now whatever this reaches 55C it locks my pc and i gotta hard reset
sounds keep playing fine tough
