And I still don't know what's happening and why this is so amazing.
And I still don't know what's happening and why this is so amazing.
It's not incredibly impressive, but the "dunk" causes all the enemies to lose a shitload of health if they are nearby. This allows them to win the fight, which directly results in them winning the round, and the whole tournament. However, they had been doing it all game so it wasn't an incredibly impressive move, and it was debatable easy to pull off. A good echo slam, but nothing special. It won them the game, but they were probably going to win anyways.
I'll say it again, this dunk didn't win them the game. They had a far better draft, and were already starting to develop a commanding lead. All the dunk did was make the end come faster. An impressive play? Yes? Million dollar dream coil tier play? Hell no.

Universe blinked in JUST before the Ice Blast hit, so CDEC had literally no fucking time to counter anything.
And I still don't know what's happening and why this is so amazing.
so something you're not familiar with isn't familiar cool do you complain everytime you see a news article about something you're unfamiliar with

Sumail was dead and the casters were debating whether EG can challenge them without storm and then they just team wipe them.
It's not just the dunk, it's the ice vortex right before that increases magic damage but riskily revealed their impending roshan contest, the dunk itself followed up by a solid stun under a lot of pressure, the ice blast right after, the ballsy ness of going 4v5 as the attacking team was down one, etc etc. It's also impressive because it won them 6 million dollars, plain and simple. Great coordination from 2 players.
A better title would be: "Watch the six million dollar chaos dunk that changed the face of Dota 2 at 1/16th speed!" At least that would be giving useful information.
stupid, I'm getting tired of all the hype around this echoslam. CDEC literally handed them the easiest ult of his life, hardly game changing at all.
This video makes just as little sense to me at 1000fps in super slow motion as it did at regular speed.

And I still don't know what's happening and why this is so amazing.
IGN wrote an article explaining what was happening: http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/08/10/how-the-dota-2-6-million-echo-slam-worked
It was a ridiculous mistake of CDEC to make. Why would they go in on Roshan with no vision when the enemy had gamechanging ultimates
