What Graphics card would work most efficient (not bottleneck or anything) with this?
I was thinking maybe a 4870X2 or a GTX 295.
I use 1280x1024.
My price range is $300-$400. This is newegg.ca by the way.

Depends on your budget.
It could be anything from a single 4870 1GB to SLI 275s.
Depends what you will be doing/playing and your monitor res.

Also, the link still works for me.
You could buy a bigger moniter and GPU for that price..
Strange your link brings me here:

For $400, I would go with a 4870x2. I'm not sure how well that would fit in your budget, because I don't know the exchange rates for USD to CAD, but I think you'll be able to afford it.
You can get a 4870 X2 for $430 CAD, or if you wanted to save some dime, get a GTX 280 for $290 CAD.
Why get 4870 X2 if playing on a 1280x1024 monitor?
Isnt that a bit overkill?

Exactly, at that resolution you would need nothing more than a GTX 260 to be honest.
