• Need help overclocking a Phenom X4 9950BE at lower voltages

Hi guys I've got an X49950BE clocked to 3.0GHz, but the voltages are way higher than from what I see with other people's systems. I see some people using 1.35V and able to clock it to 3.2GHz, whereas mine is at 1.475V, and the temps are reaching 58C already. I'm really worried about the lifespan of the processor... My motherboard is a Biostar TA790GXB with ACC features enabled, (set to +2% for all cores), my ram timings are set to 5-5-5-18 (Kingmax Value Ram only), and I've got a Gigabyte 3D Rocket 2 Cooler... Can anyone help me with my cause to achiever higher clocks with lower voltages? I'd appreciate it a lot, thanks! :)
All processors are different Just don't overclock if you are worried...
Changing your processor to have a lower voltage would also mean downclocking your CPU's clockspeed as a whole, else your processor may become damaged or fail to function at all. Honestly, a Phenom (I) 3.0Ghz is more than enough processing power, i have a Phenom (I) 9600 at 2.3Ghz and i've personally never seen the need for a performence boost... Also, from what i can tell your processor is already overclocked past the default setting which is 2.6GHz.

So I was hoping higher clocks would be better for performance.
