So I've recently started getting messages about my file HDD status being "BAD" when booting the computer. Should I send it back to where I bought it for repairs/replacement?
If I do that, would the data be safe and/or could they transfer the data to the new HDD if they'd have to replace it?
If you return the HDD for repairs or anything like that you'll probably lose all the data, i suggest making a backup yourself before returning it.
Eugh, then I need to quickly raise 100 euros and buy a new HDD, then copy the data over and then send it for repairs.
