I'd say it's a bit more Garry's mod than Minecraft. Looks cool, but I won't get my hopes up to much just yet. :(

From the trailer maybe, but "survival sandbox" doesn't sound like GMod at all.
The glove thing and how you use it, going off of 30 seconds of video, could be a reskinned Physgun.
I long for a modern game with the level of destruction of red faction guerrilla. Might this be it?
I know a couple of the people on the dev team for this. They're really talented and this game is going to be epic.
It looks good, a bit early, but still good.
