Is making a Deviantart account worth making, even if you don't really ever post or anything? I'm just wondering.
no, you will be tainted by anime and Sonic i speak from experience
Yes, it's just like making a pixiv account. I don't even know how to moonrune but having one is nifty as fuck for finding all of those great fantastic artists rushing out content of some of my most depraved fetishes. Edit: pixiv is arguably better than deviantart because at least pixiv has cute anime girls doing cute anime things. DA is furry/dragon central. Beware.
I wouldn't really say there's any consequences.
Just make sure you bring stretchy clothes and STAY AWAY from any oxygen tanks.
Have you ever visits the appreciation station?
How else do you expect to turn the maturity filter off for all that wonderful adult "art"
nah man, sheezyart or bust (does sheezyart even exist anymore?)
deviantart is pretty stingy about rules. I've seen lots of good artists outright leave for some random reason, or winds up banned. but the site is kind of elitist with how art flows about, and because of the whole "favourited by" album list at the side of every picture, it'll be easy to find the type of art you want. If you're actually drawing things, good luck trying to get viewers without dipping into the latest things, sonic or unusual Internet-fetish stuff. its kind of cancerous outside some artists fanbases and their circles. there's plenty of good artists who's Watched because of genuinely good art though.
Yes. Then you can show off your masterpiece to the world, like I did;
Sure, I made an account just so I could favorite arts and stuff and I like how you can arrange and categorize your favorites. You can find a lot of good art on dA! and a lot of hilariously bad art, I think it's worth it for laughs and inspiration.
don't make one trust me on this
This, it can be a pretty hostile community, speaking from experience. Also if your art is good, people are prone to stealing it.
