About time, wasn't it suppose to be released in June or something?
Downloaded it. It only detects like four of my games and there doesn't seem to be any way to add not officially supported games. Here's hoping it doesn't have to have optimization support to record.

I'm aware of this. Release date's in the article. I'm saying it flat out doesn't list the vast majority of my games. Hence the "hoping it doesn't have to have optimization support to record."

By downloaded it I mean I downloaded the base "geforce experience" program thingy. Unless i'm retarded and the screenshot looks deathly similar to the GE program.

In the video there is just a toggle in the top right hand corner, so it looks like it'll run globally.

It works with all DirectX 9 and newer games.
I don't understand why would you even think that it would only work with very limited amount of games. It wouldn't make any sense.

Exactly. It doesn't make any sense. But I missed the button on the top right so it appeared that the only way to launch the shadow record thing was to launch it from the games list. The same games list that's sparsely populated.
My mistake.
If you prefer to save every single moment, enable Manual Mode with the rebindable Alt + F9 hotkey, which acts like traditional gameplay recorders, saving your entire session to disk. Windows 7 files cap out at 4GB per file due to OS limitations, but on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, file size is only limited by available hard disk space, enabling hours of footage to be recorded to a single file.
Uh what, no, that's a FAT32 limitation, not Windows 7
There should be no real limit if you're using NTFS
