I thought it was already more or less official in reach? It even had a playlist.
the ball doesn't blow up when you score. That kinda ruins the whole point of grifball.
I always loved how that genius RvB PSA actually had an effect on the game
ahaha RvB. funny i used to watch that like 5 years ago. i used to love it. once a while i turn my head around and notice that it's still going on. It's like wrapped in some super thick plot and filled with super complex animations. I kinda don't understand all of it, but whatever. I mean its great they're doing that stuff, but I also kinda miss the simpler stuff like the original seasons... Cool they're implementing Grifball, though.

Don't really watch RvB, but the episodes I do watch tend to be pretty good.
the ball doesn't blow up when you score. That kinda ruins the whole point of grifball.
Grif is the damn punching bag of the show. It makes sense that "Grif" blows up when he scores. As sarge himself said. Any activity quickly loses its luster when you are unable to kill grif in it.
Sweet, I hope they also do custom map support (Just like in Reach), because some of the community maps were the most fun.
fuck, time to get an xbox................ Or if it comes out on pc I'd welcome that too
oh this brings me back
I always loved how that genius RvB PSA actually had an effect on the game
how did it make an effect? sort of confused
how did it make an effect? sort of confused
Well, in the sense that it started off as a little joke thing they made that gained popularity in Halo 3, became a forge gamemode in Reach with its own playlist, and now has its own concrete gametype as opposed to being modded assault.
Sweet, I hope they also do custom map support (Just like in Reach), because some of the community maps were the most fun.
Somehow I entered a custom match where two rolling deathballs would roll around the arena and you had to dodge them while getting/defending the grif
Oh what i will give to go back in time to relive the hype and excitement about the release of Halo 3 Halo 3 was the only game that i was really hyped and actually lived up to the hype for once.
Seems pretty lame imho, especially if you compare it to other FPS sports gamemodes, like Deathball for UT2k3/4
Seems pretty lame imho, especially if you compare it to other FPS sports gamemodes, like Deathball for UT2k3/4
Yes it seems lame but the game itself if you play it is fucking awesome. Played it for 2 days straight at the point where it was in the playlists of Halo 3
Seems pretty lame imho, especially if you compare it to other FPS sports gamemodes, like Deathball for UT2k3/4
The gamemode started out as an RvB joke, they made it in Forge, and it's been one of the most played gamemodes since.

They wanted to make it more official this time around, but no change it too much to be unrecognizable.
