Name a movie that has really just made you feel.
Discuss why too. It can be any emotion. Any movie. If there was a movie that just made you super happy, excited, sad, mad, fucking weirded out, or some other shit-infested emotion you might have...
I watched Blue Valentine tonight.

I hadn't heard about it before this week, but I looked up tablature for a song called "You always hurt the one you love" by The Mills Brothers. Instead, I found stuff about how the song was sung by Ryan Gosling in this movie. And it looked like a pretty good movie, since I can be a girl on the inside sometimes (because it does look like a chick flick).... But it was such a sad movie. It was realistic romance. It didn't have a happy ending, and it was about two people that were so in love when they were young and they ended up falling out of love when older and married. It was a really good movie, none the less.
So, if you guys have any movies you want to discuss, feel free to talk about them.
This is the song that he sings (and it's the trailer)

WATCH OUT FOR SPOILERS BELOW!
I'd have to say The Shawshank Redemption when Brooks kills himself.
That part was really sad.

Honestly this was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time and made me feel all fuzzy and good. The movie looked good, had good characters and plot and a good ending. And the dragons are cute as hell, whats not to like?
Waltz With Bashir
American Psycho, I'll never look at a business card the same way again
Any of the My Little Pony movies. It makes me cry because I wish I had a friendship as strong as those ponies.
The end of Stephen King's "The Mist"
This fits more in the "movies that make you cry" thread but the ending of Gattaca.

Oh, well poops. I didn't know there was already a thread.
This is aimed at any emotion though. Any movies that made you super happy or super excited or sad or mad or anything.
MOON really made me feel.. depressing. The feelings that make you think you're the only human on the moon.. The ending plus the music is pretty boss though.
Up and 50/50. Have no fucking clue why.

[sp]The part when he found out that his friend was just in his mind was so interesting.[/sp]
"One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". I read the book, but I thought the actors are what made the emotion come alive during the film.
literally only movie ever cried to was marley n me. probably our old family dog died like 1-2 years before it came out.

and yes. My dad directed the play version at my local theatre, and both the movie and the play make me have feels. It's so sad, but so beautiful.

Those feels, man.
;_;
Well, Forrest Gump. I've watched the movie many times growing up, but didn't understand it until I grew older. It shows a man who still has the innocence of a child going through the many struggles that many young adults go through today. Finding out what path to take in life, making friends, dealing with the death of loved ones and finding love.
It's quite an amazing movie in my opinion.

It was sad during the part were there was a bomb strapped to an innocent guy's chest, and there were too many locks to cut it off.

I think this is the only movie where Tom Hanks played a kind of bad guy.

Also this fucking scene.

When Tom Hanks told Pvt. Ryan to "Earn this" right before he died and when he asked his wife standing before his grave if he'd lived a good life and questioned if he was a good man.... I teared up.
"Feel"? This isn't fucking 4chan. Jesus Christ.
Anyway:
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- The Golden Gate Bridge Suicides
- The Fountain (but in no way close to any of the others on this list.)
- I Am Legend (When [sp]Sam dies[/sp])
- Schindler's List (When [sp]you see the little girls red coat in the pile, and when Schindler breaks down at the ending.[/sp])
Shutter Island at the end
I had a feeling of "What the fuck is going on"
The Grey.
