About half of the time when I log into Windows XP, the picture on my monitor jitters to the point where the single monitor shows two seperate images rapidly cycling between eachother. It gives the appearance of the picture being shunted over about two fifths (2/5) of the way to the left, and it does this until I power down and power back up. Restarting normally doesn't help, only shutting down and powering back on.
Any clue as to what my computer is failing?
What kind of monitor do you have and how old is it?
Sounds like a CRT, LCDs do not really fuck up like this I do not think.
