So some guy in my school heard some phrase on TV. And now runs around and shouts Gustenstaigen! ( Not sure of spelling since it's not my language ) Sounds like German. But I have no idea what does that mean. Anyone has any idea?
Google Translate
Tried. No results. Probably because spelling is wrong.
Probably an inside joke.
Quick- run up to him and yell as loud as you possibly can: Europa kann nicht eher zur Ruhe kommen, bevor die juedische Frage ausgeraeumt ist!
are u sure he's not yelling "gutendagen"?
OP: If I heard it, I may be able to figure it out. Mind spelling it out phonetically? On that note, if the second part of the word, staigen, is pronounced "sh-TAI-gen" then it might be "steigen" which means to increase Also to above post^ :byodood: Translation if you're interested: Europe can't really be in peace until the "Jewish question" is answered

Is it exactly rise or increase? Any idea how to say " go shit yourself " in German?
What I was thinking of was similiar to "Gougergeiger" what Andy says when he gets drunk on Mission Hill. obscure tv reference ahoy.
Quote from my dictionary:
steigen - be on the increase expr. 2. climb v. 3. rise v.
The first part of the word.... :iiam: And as far as "Go shit yourself" goes, I've only started learning a few months ago and I don't know too many colloquialisms. But: Leck mich am Arsch - kiss my ass Lutsch' meine Eier - suck my balls :v: (Eier = eggs actually) du lecken meine arschloch - lick my arsehole :sax: All from here by the way
Next time just ask him.

What the hell? I don't think that guy yelling "gustenstaigen" is German. It doesn't sound German.
