I've stumbled upon this nifty music composer tool. It's a lot like tonematrix, except it has a lot more features. It's quite powerful for a web based application. Give it a try, and post your songs!

The scale is not chromatic, so there are notes needed which can't be entered. Thus, it's not possible.
