She says she's 8 when you first meet her. TWD take place over a few months, it's likely her birthday was somewhere in there.

Clemetine has a birthday somewhere in there I can't remember but I'm pretty sure it's Episode 4 it may be 3 or 5 though so don't hurt me.
Her birthday was 6 days ago.
They mentioned that in one of the Playing Dead episodes. Apparently pretty annoying *cough*Duck*cough*
I think they made a good choice making her a young girl, because her bravery is more out of the blue than a small boy would have, since at first glance she's just kinda young, but in actual fact, if you play the Walking Dead, you discover she's actually kinda badass
makes sense. being a total stanger that appears to help the lonely little girl makes much more sense than the brother that already knows his sister and already has some kind of relation to her even if he was an older brother that lived far from her or something.
I hope the next walking dead season continues to follow her. Maybe a few years in the future.

[sp]TellTale may be willing to horrify and torment in order to tell a good story, but they aren't gonna kill her off just for an arbitrary tug of the heart-strings. Either she won't die at all, or her survival will be ambiguous - just finding her cap with blood on it or something like that.[/sp]
