I'm on O2 and it's been working fine for me. Been getting texts.. though, i have been traveling over the place recently.

It wasn't hacking, they physically damaged the equipment.
from the article it sounds like people physicaly smashed something important IE a broadcasting antenae or one of those very expensive satilite dishes, not hacking. also it makes it sound like something was stolen from the facility, not that a 30 foot dish (something in meters) would be easy to hide in tiny europe
