"hey buy a tablet and an expensive phone just to use battlelog!!!!"
because not advertising what your game is compatible with is a good thing, right?
"hey buy a tablet and an expensive phone just to use battlelog!!!!"
because no one owns these devices who might also want to buy Battlefield 4.
Did I just see in-game battlelog?
Battlelogs are what I call poos that you have to fight to get out.
Has that joke been done yet?
I won't mind battlelog if you could say, open up an internet window that takes you to it in game in BF4. Boom, ingame server browser.
Did I just see in-game battlelog?
Consoles have it
If I shit during a fight did I make a battlelog.
im sorry but i just want to say that not having an ingame system for matchmaking was the dumbest thing ever for bf3

because all the other battlefields had GREAT server browsers, right? especially bc2's which literally did not function 70% of the time.
ive never owned any of the bf games so i cant comment, and the way former bf games did things is entirely irrelevant to my post. im just saying that it's the most illogical roundabout way of doing things i have ever seen and it's horrible design.
A web based interface would be fine with me if it were integrated into the game.

All you have to do is open up the server browser and hit refresh, the exact same way BattleLog works.

Yet another great post from milkandcooki!
ITT: Extremely childish individuals make jokes about the word log instead of having a worthwhile discussion about the OP.
I think the geographic stats is amazing and I can't wait to compete with other players in my town over who can fly helicopters into tanks the most.
I love the idea of having a minimap on my 2nd monitor, my phone/tablet? not so much.. Seems really inconvenient looking down on your phone
Will this version also cherry pick servers to show you, completely ignoring your filters? I don't want to play in a server with 0 people in it to try and get them populated, Battlelog, I want to play in a server with some people in it. Stop showing them to me. I even have empty turned off what are you doing

who the fuck doesn't own a smartphone
who the fuck doesn't own a smartphone
me
who the fuck doesn't own a smartphone
yo
BF3 battlelog is an absolute pile of shit in terms of actually being able to connect to a server.
I had so many fucking errors from that thing, lots of which requiring to restart my computer. 1/10 times I try to connect to a server something goes wrong.
who the fuck doesn't own a smartphone
sup
Might want to check your privilege there bro, not all of us can afford that stuff
who the fuck doesn't own a smartphone
i'm sorry, but not all people live with their parents who can afford them a nice fancy smartphone
Let them eat iPhones -- Generic Monk 2013
Yet another great post from milkandcooki!
Do people even take that guy seriously anymore?
who the fuck doesn't own a smartphone
I have a Nokia.
save up for a midrange android phone or get an old iphone? they're really not that expensive if you have even a semblance of income
[editline]28th July 2013[/editline]
I'm honestly surprised this elicited such an emotional response. Smartphones have been around for years, to the point where you can get a decent one for less than £100 straight up, no contract. Unless you're literally scrounging for mildew on windowsills to provide some semblance of moisture because your water's been cut off you're so poor, you can save up for that.

But why would I even spend 100£ on a new phone?
My current one is working just fine.
