Hi Facepunch, it seems that half of my friends list has turned into some strange Haruhi worship. Now, I need you anime guys for this. What is Haruhi? And why do they worship her like a god? If you want I can give a link to the steam group. The main issue I am having. What is Haruhi? Is she like some god? Or are these people just retards.

I don't know much about her (because I like GOOD and MEMORABLE characters in my stories thank you very much) but I'm sure whatever they like her for is pretty retarded.

Because it's a really good show, and the film is fucking badass as shit.

I'm disapointed in your whole group for changing there names, roleplaying anime characters over steam, making a group, and when I join an opposing group, attacking me for it. Quite saddening.

I'm a huge anime fan, and here's my take. Haruhi is an interesting anime, and definitively worth a view. It's a fun, humorous moe show that doesn't really take itself too seriously. It adds a supernatural turn on the show, and it's actually pretty entertaining. If you're looking for something thought-provoking, don't look here. Everyone wants to keep him happy, at all costs, because he's a god and thus horrible things happen if he gets upset.
