so old controllers won't be compatible. i don't know how they would make them compatible since they will be missing a button
while harmonix is trying as hard as possible to get the old controllers compatible
I assume the first person bit is for a Kurt Cobain section.
Looks like I'll be getting rockband then.
Hope it's better built than the dj hero controller, because the dj hero controller is notorious for falling apart in two seconds. It's a shame, because it's otherwise a pretty fun controller for a pretty fun game.
I'm sort of hoping they won't release a new Guitar Hero game. I'm fairly certain they'll just flood the market with more cash-ins than last time.

I've had mine for over four years and it still works perfectly.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks neat? It's a new idea, and while I won't grab it day one, I'll probably end up trying it out eventually.

The whole live-action dynamic audience looks like it could be really neat if done right, but the new controller looks too simplistic to be as fun as the traditional 5 button layout. If they made it 4x2, it would probably be a lot more fun, even if the enjoyment of sliding up and down the neck still couldn't be done.
