I have a feeling this "card" will have a depth of a pocket calculator. I'm not really sure if I want the extra bulkiness
Just another thing I'm gonna lose the charger to and end up buying some proprietary charger.

Charge a CC? I think they will last pretty much forever.

Well it still has to fit in card readers, so I doubt that.

Cards are issued for a maximum of 5 years before being changed over here. If you had a card powered by a small battery which was only used for the keyboard and tiny LCD screen it would last much longer than that. Especially if it had power saving functions so it powered down after a while and turned on when you hit one of the buttons.

Technology gets smaller before it gets better, I don't think size will be a problem soon.

There are creditcards that run a small version of java that are the size of an normal creditcard.
