I really hope this is good. I love the AC games and AC4 was really good. Hopefully this one will be more optimized because the new generation of consoles, but who knows. AC4 FPS dropped on some parts where it shouldn't have.
looks great I look forward to playing it when it's on the next summer sale
Similar to how Watch Dogs works, all players see themselves as Arno, and all others as random members of the Brotherhood. They all come together at cafes and embark one of eleven special Brotherhood missions that are separate from the main campaign. No one wants to sit through lengthy cutscenes while playing a cooperative game, so the intro videos are quick and only supply players with what they need to know in order to complete the mission.
I'll be honest, I actually WANT that sort of quality coop campaign. I want to sit down with my friend(s) and immerse ourselves in a good story. Most of the time that I play a game with coop, I'm looking at mods that give me the campaign coop. I don't want this side-mission bullshit. That really disappoints me.
coulda swore coop was drop in drop out for freeroam and side activites, though that could be the case and it simply dcs you whenever you start a campaign mission
Considering the stuff you can do outside of main story missions in the AC series that might be good enough on its own. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to make the main missions Co-op. It would be funny seeing your friend running in circles able to still control his character during a cutscene
I'll be picking this one up just because I like almost all of the assassin's creed games, and the storyline they give out is quite awesome in my opinion.
