Euro Truck Simulator 2 sounds like alot of fun to be honest.

I still don't know why it's fun, but it actually is. Persistence, progression, building a company from the ground up and what is modeled is fairly accurate to life. Go for it

it is.
Certain simulators are fun. The first simulator I tried was Microsoft Flight Simulator, my Dad had a Joystick so it actually felt like I was flying a real plane. The fact that I was quite young made it a lot more exciting. I recently bought Euro Truck Simulator 2 because I enjoyed the first one, and likewise the second one is even better. But obviously certain simulators are more for serious stuff, like practicing for a job or whatever, e.g. Forklift truck simulator (I don't think you'd actually buy this one for fun)
Farm Simulator is poop, but Euro Truck Simulator 2 is actually strangely endearing.

That's my usual experience in Euro Truck Sim 2... except I would have already flipped over on the first turn.
