What would be the best graphics card for under £150 for my computer? - AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz - 4GB RAM - GeForce 9500GT 1GB - 450w PSU I might be able to go over £150 a bit if it's worth it.
Any 5770 from Novatech.
No, these: http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/XFX+ATI+Radeon+HD+4890+1024MB+GDDR5+PCI-Express+Graphics+Card+?productId=37323&source=googleps http://www.vipergaming.co.uk/shopping_cart.php [editline]02:08AM[/editline] To make sure the 450W PSU is sufficiently powerful please supply the model number, since there are 450W PSUs that would struggle with a 4890.

well it's redeeming qualities would be it would make a good IED
Holy explosive powers supplies Batman. Don't trust a £10 PSU, not with a 5770, not with anything. Buy a new PSU, and this time put aside at least £50 and get a high quality one. Don't make the mistake of thinking the PSU is something you can save money on by getting a cheapo, it really isn't. I reckon the most common reason for people doing that is only taking into account the advertised wattage and the price alone, therefore coming to conclusions such as a £10 450W PSU being as capable as a £50 450W PSU.

Good price too. Would be cutting it close with a 4890 though, so I would recommend a ~500W unit ideally if you got a 4890. http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-4890-review-test/5
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/199404 with the PSU comes to just £5 over budget
You guys aren't even going to ask what kind of slots his mobo has?
free delivery too [editline]02:53AM[/editline]
You guys aren't even going to ask what kind of slots his mobo has?
I don't think they even make 9500s in AGP or PCI
Thanks for the replies, I'll try and get a bit of extra money for a decent PSU then and keep the £150 for the card. Also, how much of a difference would I notice going from my current card to the ones posted so far?

It is PCI-E.

Would this one be ok to use with the 4890? http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/OCZ+StealthXStream+500W+Silent+SLI%2FCrossfire+Ready+ATX2.2+Power+Supply+?productId=29090
Yes. [editline]02:50PM[/editline] Wait, no, go for a 600W.
Are there any cheaper 600W than this that are ok to use? http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/OCZ+StealthXStream+600W+Silent+SLI%2FCrossfire+Ready+ATX2.2+Power+Supply+?productId=26933
