I'm really happy that they're making Serious Sam 4, but at the same time I'm kind of saddened by the fact that Serious Sam 3 wasn't a huge enough financial success to support the developer.
If it's as good as the previous ones, I am excited. I just hope that there are more varied environments than just Egypt this time. The Second Encounter was great because of that.

However, I REALLY HOPE that SS4's funding goes well, I would love to see a fourth game in the series.
Judging by that lone shot of SS4, which is probably an early concept or something, either it's going to be when Mental first invades Earth (BBFE? :v:), or Sam's gonna go through time again to try and route the invasion in its starting stages perhaps. But who knows.
All I can hope is that they improve the game design and, like I said in the other thread, that they don't make the early parts of the game such a painful slog.
The Jewel of the Nile DLC removed a lot of things that were wrong with SS3, so maybe that means they've learned.

Good idea for the funding.
Serious Sam is the fucking bomb, grabbing four friends and playing co-op on Mental difficulty with infinite lives is so absurdly fun. I hope 4 uses the same engine as 3, which ran awesomely without compensating for graphics.
And that should be it.
Unfortunately whoever picked up those keys are probably dead now because they were booby trapped to spawn a Kleer right behind them.
