Remaking the games in HD? There was nothing wrong with the graphics in the original games in the first place. Seems like just a pointless edit to milk the series for it's money.
Getting a PS3 with all these HD collections seems more and more lucrative (I guess there's a couple decent exclusives too). But I think I'll wait till the next console gen until I get it. [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline] I wish they would also add strafing to R&C 1 since 2 & 3 have it but maybe it'd make it too easy
They'll probably just be in 1080p and run at 60fps like most of the other HD things. Although I love it when they do like Serious Sam HD and redo the textures and models and whatnot
Hell yeah! My PS2 broke a while ago and I've been wanting to play these again for years.

It revamps the engine and pretties it up to work on Playstation 3, and brings a wonderful set of titles to a new generation of gamers. I no longer have my PS2, nor do I particularly like looking at PS2's incredibly low-definition visuals so I can safely say that I will buy this on Day 1.
buying ps3 right now
I love this series.
Why can't I hold all these HD collections?

Plus, I've got the HD remaster of Jak and Daxter, definitely worth it. I don't mind giving Naughty Dog or Insomniac more of my money.
This is such a fucking coincidence I literally just found my PS2 not even 2 hours ago and started replaying the series :O
My favourite game series, this is great news if it's true.
-snip-
I must have played Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando like 10 times. When I finally had enough to buy the Ryno I was the happiest person ever. Then I replayed it twice more.
I only played deadlocked but I've heard great things about Ratchet and Clank, not to mention theres references to the series in the Jak games. Probably gonna pick this up at one point.
Been hoping for this ever since my sister wrote on the back of my disc with a stone. [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline] ):

[editline]2nd March 2012[/editline] ):[/QUOTE] My brother broke our first disk, erased games 1-3 at least once from the memory card, and pissed and rubbed deoderant all in my gamecube :v: I had to beat the games twice sometimes three times until he moved away. Deadlocked might be the first I didn't have to replay.
I've never had a Playstation, so I think I'll get a Ps3 soon and try these HD collections out, maybe buy a few Ps1 game on the store as well.

I actually really enjoyed Deadlocked as well. That shit was awesome if you had a friend to play with.
Holy shit I never played past 3 so I don't know what the fuck the title's orders are, I wish they'd just kept it numeric instead of titled. I really wish I kept up with the series.
I loved these games so much. I have all of them, except the last one. I was so sad when I heard their next Ratchet and Clank would be a arcade-type non-story thing. I want a new, proper story one, like Crack in Time, which was absolutely amazing.

That's the order for the main games, I think Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One takes place chronologically after A Crack in Time, but it doesn't follow the gameplay of the other games so. There's also Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank but those weren't developed by Insomniac Games so they might not be considered a part of the canon.
