Looking for a decent (yet affordable) mouse.

So, the cheap mouse that came with my computer is starting to fall apart. There's plastic bits rattling inside and the scroll wheel won't work despite my ramshackle (yet extensive) repairs, so I've decided to spoil myself with something that works better.

My budget is $40, but bonus points if you can find it on the Best Buy site since I have a few gift cards lying around. I'd prefer something with at least five buttons, but I've managed with three so far, so it's not really a big deal.

I'm certainly open to suggestions, especially if they mean I have to pay less money to the filthy corporations. :buddy:

The mouse you are looking at is pretty good, i had it with my alienware and it lasted about 7 years before it broke down, the logitech MX618 is a very good mouse as well.

I'd say a Logitech G500. The microgear wheel is pretty useful but the weight cartridge on the other hand doesn't really do much. You can find them on sale for like $40 if you look hard enough. Also the mx518 is pretty good.

Is probably the cheapest I can find, that won't ruin your life by being a piece of junk.
I would suggest a logitech as well, but they are even more expensive, and cheap logitech mice are crap, except for the ultracheap corded.
