Best part of the game was liberating bases for me, I just sort of lost interest in the later part of the game but it's still amazing fun.

Yep totally worth it at this price, it should last you a while if you plan on doing all the outposts, side quests etc.

The story is massively underrated. It's tongue-in-cheek and some of the characters are just amazing, especially Sam and Vaas.

The sad part is that the transition from junkie to crazed killer was supposed to be a commentary on the modern gamer and how we don't care about the destruction we cause that affects the game world.
At least, that's what I gathered from the whole controversy the head writer caused when he said we just didn't "get" the game.
As someone who has played FC3, this is worth the price. The only bad I can see is if you try to examine the story too deeply and the potential lack of interest about halfway through the game.

Has its flaws, but this game is just so much fun to play.

Played through the game with just the bow. Best weapon, just like in Crysis 3.

The song that plays in the mission is called "Make it Bun Dem" (yes, that is how it's spelt) and honestly I do like it, even when not burning marijuana. TF2 Pyro runs feel especially effective with it.

Got the deluxe edition for free a while back, so worth it.
This was my first FarCry game. I loved it.
A decent experience. The shooting is fun, the story is absolute garbage though and the main character is a big giant pussy who you can't really relate to unless you are a rich whiteboy who loves going to clubs and listening to dubstep.
Capturing bases is fun up until you pretty much liberate half of the island, then it gets really fucking boring and hunting also becomes pointless after you acquire the actually useful shit.
Play the game on hardmode, it's really really easy until you have to fight the mercs then it gets a bit challenging.
Normal is just piss easy.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is 100x better game just because it's so much more fast paced and your character is less limited. If they made a full Blood Dragon game it would be fucking amazing.
