Hi,
I have a computer running on XP, and it has developed an unusual click sound routine.
It doesn't make the sound when I double click, but makes it about every ten seconds.
It seems to speed up whilst I'm browsing the web.
Can anyone help to solve this, without unplugging the speakers?
Hard-drive problem? Or does it go away when you turn your speakers off.

Goes away when the speakers go off.
Faulty speakers?

tried with my headphones, and it is still there
Update sound card drivers?

doesn't sound like the problem, because it came on suddenly
Nevertheless did you update them?
What kind of clicking? Is it a Windows XP sound or is it just like a crackle?
