As the title says, I'd like to know if Desura (the mod version of steam where you can download all the good mods) is legit, when I downloaded something it asked which steam account to use, and I selected my username, should I be worried?
I don't trust any program that trys to link with steam.
It didn't ask for my password.
I'm pretty sure Desura is owned by the same guy who owns moddb, so yeah, it's legit.
I should download Desura.

I downloaded it and used it. It's safe.
Yeah, but when I used it. I downloaded Paranoia and that shit didn't have Paranoia's flashlight, it used the default half life flashlight, stuff got me downright mad.
