The original Leisure Suit Larry games were full of charm and humor and god damn it I want to see this done so bad.

I'd always wanted to play a Larry game though.
I love Kickstarter and hope it is like the future of gaming if it means we get old school games like this more.

Half a million for a remake of the original seems a bit excessive.
I might get a kickstarter to get this ulcer on my nipple removed.
I never played the original but the kickstarter video is actually pretty funny so I will think about donating.
While I'd prefer it to be Space Quest, this is awesome.
I played the one on PS2 when I was 13. Had the weirdest boner all along.
Seems like Kickstarter is giving funds for games that producers refuse to fund, which is great. We need more games that stray off the whole "people buy these kinds of games" attitude.

I don't think so you should try the VGA version of the original first.
While I think these kickstarters are great, it's essentially just like buying a pig in a bag, no telling if the product will be good and worth funding, and I am sure when these kickstarted games start releasing and some of them fail, there will be a massive outrage for "screwing us over", cant wait.
