• Changing to Windows 7- Help

Alright, so this is my qeustion: I have Windows Vista Basic, and my dad is getting windows 7 for like, 20$ this week(hes military, so he gets a HUGE discount on microsoft products). But, he says he's not sure if my games will work on windows 7. He said "sometimes, when they upgrade a platform [windows], the old system platform that STEAM was meant to run on may not be compatable with the new Windows 7." I said it would be able to, but he doesnt fully believe it will work. So, will my steam games work on Windows 7? Ive seen it before in video's and pics, but i just want to make sure, -and please tell me if there are any bugs or complications (like, updating drives, changing certian files, redirecting, cleaning hard drive, and that sorta stuff) to get steam on Windows 7. I wanna know what i have to do before and easily install, rather than get excited because i have windows and screw up installing steam- -Thanks-
Im pretty sure that any game that works with vista is compatible with 7, im sure there are exceptions though.
You'll be fine. Windows 7 is Vista after a hot Brillo Pad and soap. I've been using it since 2008 and not once have I encountered a problem.
