So I play EVE Online and I've got the second clock showing UTC (eve time, appropriately labelled Eve Time) and I want to get it into 24hr format. The problem is, when I alter the clock format to 24hr it ONLY effects the primary clock. Does anyone know how to make the secondary clock become 24hr? (I don't really care if it forces both to 24hr format, I can live with it)
why do you need the time for your video game, btw everyone will rate you clock
Well first I don't exactly give a shit about ratings, and second knowing the time it is in EVE allows me to know when stuff in the game is happening (since you don't appear to know its an MMO). Say there is a mining operation at 19:00 UTC I can just look at the secondary clock and notice "ok, I have an hour and a half before that starts, so I don't need to be in the game just yet if I choose to go to it." But if I only use my home time, I've gotta check the time then subtract it by 8hrs to get UTC time.
"i'm so obsessed with this game i'm going to plan my whole day around it" Every EVE player I know is like this.
wow...what a generalization. I never knew occasionally entering a game to participate in a group event at a certain time assuming RL stuff isn't happening classified as obsessed. well, it's certainly not looking good for those WoW players who spend the 3/4 of their day in it.
You could just get used to 24 hour time for your normal clock, ain't that hard to do.
i read this as "Windows 7- Multiple Cocks", then i re read to make sure i was wrong.
I use 24h time (live in France, people use 24hr time here) and if a make a new clock with UTC time (I'm on UTC+1) it's also on 24hr. So maybe, remove the UTC clock, set 24Hr mode, restart and then make the UTC clock again? (Maybe windows doesn't propagate changes to secondary clocks?) Otherwise, use a desktop gadget that supports different timezones and 24hr system (not the default win7 one), or use a desktop customization software like Rainmeter to make a clock that is set to UTC in 24hr mode directly on your background?
