• Something really slowing down internet?

'Ello, so, my ping in every game server is exceedingly high, like, 170 -> 200. Normally these servers I have about a 40 -> 70 ping. I keep getting weird spikes, like, my ping will be in the 200's for a good ten minutes, drop back to the 50's for a minute or two, then another ten minutes of high ping. Now, the problem is I don't know exactly what is slowing me down. We have four computers on the network, two iTouches, a wifi-enabled TV, and probably a few more things I can't think of. Is there any way to see what device is using our internet connection or do I need to go turn off each device and go back and forth trying to figure it out? Thanks!
Is this problem happening on every device? If you're on wifi, try plugging directly into the router.

figure out your host ip, ip of your router. Connect to it, login if necessary, just google the generic credentials if you don't know it, and check the connected ip's. If it's wifi, you should key protect it, who knows perhaps neighbors are on it without your permission. Once nothing is connected to the internet, plug in your device/computer first. Connect, whatever. Try playing on the internet a bit, if experiencing delayed connections or no connections, it's that specific device's issue. Too many things could be wrong with it.
Or someone in the network has BitTorrent or any downloading program like that running, that usually causes a lot of ping issues, even when it's not downloading at all it still eats up the bandwith.
