I was just wondering if there was any good free software that you guys use that you would reccomend.
Check this out. It's tons of free software you can install at once.
Nothing special but:
• Puush
• CoolNovo Web Browser
FreeStudio is a really good media suite. It's got tons of options for converting audio, video, and photo files, and can convert them to work with various mobile formats as well as making 3D pictures and videos. The biggest attraction, though, is its YouTube downloader, which is fast, easy-to-use, and simple. Basically you can just paste the address of any video, playlist, or channel and it'll queue the video(s) to be downloaded, in choices of several different qualities and formats.
Steam
WinRAR
If you use your computer at night you can use f.lux to make it much easier on your eyes. A lot of people don't like the yellow tint it adds, but you can disable it for color sensitive work and change how pronounced the tinting is. I find it really helps.
A browser
Gimp.
Good fer drawin' and creating gifs.
Adblock Plus
Dropbox cant go wrong with a Dropbox :v:

MyPaint. Even better for drawing than The GIMP, but not so well at creating *.GIFs. Like at all. From experience, I think The GIMP's strengths is in the name; image manipulation.
WinRAR
It's not free, you must pay at the end of your 40-day trial.
Unless you're a filthy communist pirate.
blender its pretty simple and is used to make tf2 hats, guns
gcfscrape for extracting files from the now outdated gcf format
7zip because its actually free unlike winrar

I'll just pay later.
the one program I can only really recommend that everyone should install is CCleaner. It's good for keeping your computer tidy and also has features to delete unnecessary data. If you have a SSD it would be a necessity.
GameSaveManager
A browser
Not just any browser
SPARKBROW-
wait, pretty sure that's run into the ground by now
thepiratebay has a lot of free software
i mean well technically its free
ShareX is a good screenshotting program. I use it constantly since I found it, saves a ton of time.
Flutter is an app that uses your webcam to detect gestures and control playback for VLC, Spotify, Quicktime, iTunes, even YouTube. It's pretty neat for when you're just watching something and you're too much of a lazy fatass to reach the mouse, or there's too much cheeto dust on your fingers to use it.
Linux.

Finally, a program designed for those of us with eternal Cheeto fingers!
But seriously this is really cool. It's finally a viable option for me to hook up my TV, turn on Netflix, and lounge back on the couch watching it.
Audacity is probably the best free audio recording software.

They have great converters for almost any format of any file you can think of. Really helpful, and effective.

Except it's still perfectly functional when the trial ends? All you get is a message that tells you that you need to register it.
Bankruptcy Simulator 2013
Such an advanced simulation that it actually drains your bank account as you play
Notepad ++ is helpful for small tweaks of really anything.
VLC. Lightweight and supports almost any codec you can imagine.
