As someone who played in the beta test, if your looking for a game that has anything to do with Elder Scrolls, or features anything different from other MMO's, look elsewhere. It's a theme-park MMO with Elder Scrolls races, that's pretty much it - the rest is the same type of stuff you would find in pretty much any other MMO ever released.
They don't even have the classic type skill-system in the game just a generic class system with "abilities" akin to World of Warcraft. The story was equally as bad, and the whole experience reminded me of when I played Everquest years ago, but if your into that kind of thing go for it I guess. Even with all that, it honestly was [i]better[/i] than I was expecting it to be going into it, but still super lame all things considered.
Just wait for Everquest Next and roleplay a skooma addict.

I'd say the same thing, but I'd also say it still wasn't good.
I wouldn't pay money for it or a sub fee. It just made me want to play skyrim/morrowind.
It was Lord of the rings mmo with an Elder Scrolls mix

It's under NDA, so I can't say much. But my expectations were based solely on previously leaked info (aka I expected something on par with one of those really shitty dime a dozen Korean MMOs, only with sexified orcs.) However, it was fun enough to make me consider subbing.
I played it a bit too, it's a pretty standard MMO, and it plays fine, but it is a terrible Elder Scrolls game and shits on the lore at every turn.

You just broke the NDA, calling the cops and bethesda.
The game felt really stiff, animations were shit, just didn't feel good all around. You're forced into the story that is much more uninteresting than the other Elder Scrolls games. The combat system is gimmicky too, nowhere near as satisfying as other Elder Scrolls games. Magic and arrows home in on targets, the first person view is shit..
I'm not even excited for the next beta event.
