strategic alignment of our company
Every time I see corporate jargon like this in relation to job losses I die a little inside.
We're strategically hanging you out to dry, but thanks for all the money you made us!
Time to fear for LOTRO again.
I paid for a lifetime account, Warner. I'm not fucking planning on dying anytime soon.
[sp]yes I know that's not what it means[/sp]
I knew turbine was going to hell sooner or later, I dislike the business model of both Lord of the Rings Online and how they put up a pay wall on accessing content when you get to level 20, same thing with Dungeons and Dragons Online. I stop playing these two games because of these pay walls...
plus I dislike the gameplay of both of those games anyways, the games harbor more on getting frustrated then it is actually enjoyable. Since I had a hard time with both Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeon and Dragons Online, I was put off by those game and never consider to install it again...
The gaming industry must be the worst in the fucking world to work in unless you're an indie or you work with one of the Go To devs for the big three that pump out nothing but franchises no matter what.
Thanks for composing our music, now fuck off.
Thanks for setting up our in-game market, now get out
Thanks for creating this entire game, we don't need any of you anymore, so we're shutting your studio down
The only people in the industry with any type of job security are the ones that pump out Call of Duty or Assassins Creed every year
