Hi,
So my pc currently has a stock cooler on it, which sucks of course. But I saw that a good Corsair H55 liquid cooler was on sale. Although I saw a few newer ones, is this one worth 60 euros (around 70 $)?
Details on the H55 if anyone needs them to reply :3 : http://www.corsair.com/en/cpu-cooling-kits/hydro-series-water-cooling-cpu-cooler/hydro-series-h55-quiet-cpu-cooler.html

It would be a big upgrade from a stock cooler. Should do you good for small overclocking. don't expect to be doing anything major :P
Looks like a good investment. I have a H80i and it's alright. :)
I use one to 1.) Be much better than the stock heatsink 2.) to keep weight off the motherboard and 3.) to directly vent heat out of the case. It works, haven't tried overclocking but one review's graphs said it is nearly identical to the h60 in performance.
For 25$ you have an air cooled cooler which is more silent, less prone to failure and almost as good in cooling performance.
Or for a little more, get a Noctua.
In most cases the small rads preform about the same as aircooled coolers

So you have one too :D thats nice, but I read about some noise issues with Corsair pumps, are you having that? Cause I think its a problem that can be fixed, but I just wanna know.

I've been using an H70 for two years now with no problems. I mainly bought it because I liked that you could attach it right to the back vent instead of hanging off the motherboard, which helped me create my positive pressure case with less fans.

I do not hear the pump over my fans, not sure what it sounds like.
I'd go for a Noctua. Good experience with them. Linus does, aswell.

Linus tech tips ;P awesome guy. I do like Noctua too, but my socket is a LGA 2011, so I hope they will have at least one for my socket ;p
