Oh really?
the entire ARG is a marketing gimmick to promote the character, wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't even solvable to begin with
the entire ARG is a marketing gimmick to promote the character
well, duh.
Being rewarded with count-downs for solving a puzzle is just an absolute bummer.
lol people still caring about the ARG your ARG is pretty fucking bad when your fanbase already knows the outcome
Yeah, I've read about this issue many times, there's just no point in solving the ARG when blizz is just going to release it whenever they want. And with this ARG, all they do, as written in the article, is release more and more puzzles, countdowns, and no info about Sombra itself at all. I guess the only people who are going to have fun with this are people who genuinely enjoy solving puzzles for the sake of solving them. Because there's pretty much no end goal to this.
The issue is that it was solved the second it was "found", that and even if we did not know what it was, it would've overextended its welcome by now anyway.
Never, ever, follow up a countdown with another countdown. Solving puzzles in an ARG is fun, watching numbers tick with no agency over their speed is not.
