Android severely crippled - Not even basic apps working
8 replies, posted
In short, something screwed up my Android tablet pretty bad.
Market app version is somewhere in the billions
logcat says sqlite is crashing
Titanium Backup boots fine until it tries to check something, such as my user data - then it crashes and reboots twice
Market is somewhat crippled - I can see some apps fine
Anything that is reinstalled with the Market works fine, however I have no backup app whatsoever
Twitter is randomly booting even when it should not have login info
Funny thing is, Angry Birds still works. :v:
Please send help. :saddowns:
The main problem is sqlite.
Back up your user data with Titanium Backup and do a factory reset.

read the post again.
Nobody knows how to help?
There's no problem if Angry Birds still works :v:
What's the tablet though, you might be able to connect it to your computer and use the software the company supplies to back-up your shit.
Then just do a factory reset and deal with losing app data.
Titanium Backup magically started working again. :buddy:

I'm trying to fix my crippled market at the moment - can anybody supply me with a direct link to a Text Edit apk? It's a free app in the full marketplace...
If it's SQL, open up adb and use df and du to get the sizes of /data and /data/data. I had a really similar problem around a week ago (force closes, SQL failures, out of disk errors), and it turned out that /data/data was really full (97%), and uninstalling/moving apps to the sd card fixed it.
Whatever I did, I somehow unlocked the full marketplace with a restart. Everything's fixed :buddy: :buddy:
Noted, nicatronTg.
