I am kind of new to building my own custom computer so I decided to come here for advice on parts. As of right now I can't really afford the best components. What I am looking for is a rig that can be fitted with mediocre components now and then upgraded with better components later, a kind of "future proof" build if you know what I mean. I would want an Intel CPU and an Nvidia GPU as I was told these are the best brands for gaming. I have a mouse, keyboard, monitor, speaker system, and a case so all I really need are the best components in my price range.
You can't get a decent Intel build for max $500. Hell, then you say Nvidia. Yeah, your not going to get a build for $500. Go AMD Phenom with Radeon 6770.
