I mean music is vast in genre and people have loads different tastes. And to be honest after the last condensing I stop using FP as much. I now find it muddled and lots of sub categories have been forgotten. Not requesting anything just stating a fact. But hey, got some great memories from this site.

I always had specific threads in each subsection that id check, the mega threads and condesing has really taken a lot of out of it, DD will never be the same
The Metal Megathread was one of my favorite places to find new music and now people won't post in it for days at a time and its been stuck on the same version since February of 2013

The TV Series and Movies subforum was great too. Now I'm lucky if I can find a thread about a series I watch or want to watch
Last thing I watched was One Punch Man and there is literally 0 thread about it
If the subforum still existed I'm sure a huge thread would exist for that
And I could discover new shows and movies to watch thanks to that subforum too, but now it fucked off because Garry

The logic that Garry and the Mods have are probably that since the majority of people don't give a shit that a change happened to begin with, that somehow it was probably a good idea. A group of paintballers (I think thats what they were) even went off and created their own forum when sections of Facepunch were shut down.
And Garry's logic after cramming a bunch of threads into General Discussion was to have more thread per page, which wouldn't have been needed if he didn't cram a bunch of threads into one subforum.

It happened too with DD but it failed and the community sank with it. Amazing group of friends in there...sigh
I miss the urban exploration forum.
I miss creationism corner, it was so much nicer than having ten different threads for various media in general discussion.

The subsection actually got me into urban exploration, and since then I've visited abandoned carnivals and factories, but have nowhere to share it :(
