Whenever I start it on steam It crashes. I have validated the files numerous times but have never done any good. It was working fine about a week ago, then just stopped, any ideas?
That's odd, maybe there was an update to it? Try reinstalling it
I redownloaded it all (windows wanted to do a chkdsk also so I did that) and it still doesnt work
According to the Steam support forum, you have to install all of this extra crap for it to work. The two things I saw listed were:
Games for Windows app (??)
Direct X 9.0 redistributable
Both installers are apparently stored within the game folder in the steam appcache folder.
Works now, No idea what I did to get it working
