Don't freaking rape me if it sucks, I don't know, that's why I'm asking. Anyway, after a small upgrade, this will be my PC: Some AMD 2.8GHz processor (if you need the actual model tell me) 3GB RAM Radeon HD4850 I know it's not like a jesus PC or something, but could you give me some FPS estimates of some games? (Max settings, on 1440x900 since that's my monitor's max. >_>) Thanks for the help guys. PS: I've looked at overclocking things and I'm curious to learn more. However, I downloaded a CPU overclocking software to see what it was like, and it said it didn't recognise my processor. Does it really make the performance that much better?
What's the model of the CPU? It'll be pretty good for games, but don't use software overclocking. Use your BIOS and make sure you have good cooling.

Also how would I do the overclocking thing?

I have the HD4850, kinda good gpu
It would be fairly good at games.
For that resolution, that CPU and a 4850 are excellent. Outside of GTA4, which you will have to run at reduced settings, you should have no problems with any game.
tip for the future: build your own desktop computer, or if you don't know how, get someone to build one for you. good luck :)
