Will Half-Life 2 Deathmatch,Half Life 2 Lost Coast and Portal:First Slice be enough to buy Garry's Mod and play?

One Source game is enough.

Any source game which grants you access to the Source SDK Base will give you the ability to play Garry's Mod, iirc.

It doesn't work if you used the ATI / nVidia graphics card deals, as I think you did. That might have changed since I got them though.
